I am so excited for Alexis and Atheer (Theo, as he goes by). They are great people and we know we will have lots of good times with them covering their special day in September. They took direction so well but really did not even need any. Almost none of these images are photoshopped very much because they have pretty darn good features if I must say so myself.

We have been shooting a lot at the bow and arrow in San Francisco since it is such a diverse place. You got grass, ocean, big clock tower, huge bow and arrow art piece, as well as the Bay Bridge!

Both Sandhya and Zach live pretty far from the Bay Area. Sandhya is residing in San Diego in Medical school and Zach is all the way on the other side of the country in New York working as an Assistant Principal at a school. They contacted me several months ago about their wedding and hired me over the phone!

I had the lovely opportunity to meet them both in San Francisco for an engagement shoot and we went around lots of areas throughout the city. Both of them love nature so we started at Golden Gate Park, and Sandhya loved my idea of the Cable Cars so we went on one, if only for one second for a photo, then moved onto the beach where we captured the sun setting over the Golden Gate Bridge. Finally, hearing that Zach proposed to her at a wine bar, we just had to go to one, to capture some moments as they shared a glass of wine.

I admire both of them for being so cool and well rounded people with passion for their professions and such a strong love for one another that they can bare being apart for weeks on end. I will be so happy when they are able to live together permanently under one roof and enjoy each others company. Until then they are working hard and getting ready for their big day!

What a wonderful experience it is to work with energetic, fun, and warm hearted people. Really makes me feel like I have the best job in the world! Nupur and Tanmai are one of those amazing couples that we are really excited to be working with. Just a few months ago we did the photography and videography for Nupur’s twin sister, Nidhi. We really had a wonderful time working with their families and the video and albums came out spectacular! It was a thrill and honor to be invited to make a film and do the photography for Nupur’s wedding this summer at the Hyatt Regency in La Jolla. For their engagement shoot we met up at Legion of Honor in San Francisco before heading over to Baker Beach, where we brought some studio lighting down right to the water’s edge.
