Maritza and Jess Wedding | Morgan Hill, CA

Maritza and Jess are one of those special couples that touches your heart. They are so in love with each other, life, their families, and really like to have a good time. They are both into music and photography and really wanted photography to be an important aspect of their wedding. Maritza was smart and booked Wedding Documentary well over a year in advance so she did not have to worry about a thing. Maritza saw our past work from some of her friend’s weddings and when she became engaged, knew who to call immediately as they began planning their awesome event.

We did an engagement shoot in San Francisco that led us to the beach where my car got locked behind the gates at Baker Beach and then we had to wait for the security guys to come and open the gate for us. Then after several months their date came and we headed to Morgan Hill where we captured the getting ready at the Ramada, before we went to Pedrizzetti (Morgan Hill Winery) for the ceremony, and then finally to the Morgan Hill Community Center where they had a party that rocked the house, including spinning from DJ Zita, out of San Francisco.

Even their cake topper featured a little photographer and DJ to signify their favorite hobbies and the dancing was a great party. Even I got in the mood and shook my booty a bit. This is one of the “good feeling” weddings I will always remember and I sure with them the best of luck! Enjoy some of our favs!

Mehvish and Omar | San Francisco Engagement Shoot

Mehvish and Omar are having a four day wedding event on July 15-18, 2010. We are super excited to be documenting their day with both stills and cinema coverage. To have a little fun before the big week of festivities we headed over to San Francisco for an engagement shoot next to the large bow and arrow art piece next to the ball park. Mehvish and Omar parked at the ballpark and ended up walking all the way to the bow and arrow which, was far so I felt kind of bad about that. Not to mention, it was freezing cold and windy. Probably the worst conditions to do a shoot besides rain or sand storm!

Both Mehvish and Omar didn’t mind much though and they were awesome to photograph. They both are very REAL people who love to travel and are genuinely interested in the world (like I am)! We were not able to make it down to the beach as planned because it was just too cold but we had fun at any rate. Here are few of my favorites and be sure to stay tuned for their wedding images in July!

Pavan and Jean Indian Wedding Highlights Video

Pavan and Jean were married March 28, 2010 at Canyon View Dining Hall in San Ramon, CA. What made this wedding so unique was the blending of two cultures. The three day event included pithi ceremonies for both the bride and the groom, tea ceremony, Chinese Banquet Dinner, Indian lunch, white wedding dress, and traditional Indian saris.

We shot all the events with the Canon 5D Mark II and 7D Cameras, and used them primarily for this highlights reel. For the main film, which runs about three hours, a mix of up to five cameras was used for the filming of the ceremony. Talk about good coverage!

This highlights video features the main Indian wedding day ceremony and reception. Enjoy!
