I feel so blessed to be working with so many great couples, so close to home. Sometimes I travel pretty far to shoot weddings, but the last three have been literally down the street! Just a few days ago Marisa and Mike tied the knot at such a beautiful wedding location in the South Bay, called Saratoga Springs in Saratoga, CA. I have been camping at Saratoga Springs before, but this was my first wedding there. Wow, this place rocks! We had perfect lighting, the staff there was really nice and attentive to details. The food was amazing, and the astro turf was dry, whereas if it were sod, it would have been soaking wet still from the rains last week.
Mike is a mechanic and Marisa is a park ranger who specializes in native California plants. These two have a lot of life experience behind them and together these two are going to raise a wonderful family. We got to do a lot of fun photos, including going in a bounce house, taking photos down by the creek with off camera flash, as well as, a lot of bridal party and getting ready photos. All of Marisa and Mike’s friends and family were so cool that I hope I can shoot some of their friends weddings just so we can all hang out and do it again!
In less than one week, we edited the 3,000 photos we shot down to about 1,555 and within one week have everything edited and ready to go. If you would like the link to see all the photos just send me an email. Enjoy some of my favs below!
