The best part about what I do is being able to get to know so many great couples and their families. Meghana and Umang are a very special pair and I was so happy to work with them over the past year. We started with a beautiful engagement shoot in a place very special to them, San Francisco, at the foot of the Pacific Ocean. We then had a fun filled pre wedding eveneing of Raas dancing with her closest friends and family, followed by the beautiful wedding you will see in the presentation below.

Meghana and Umang are two people who truly love, care, and respect one another. Together these two can really accomplish anything and it will be a thrill to continue working with them throughout the years.

Phoebe and Chris had some really magical moments with me this past Sunday over at Baker Beach in San Francisco. This was engagement shoot number two for us since we are doing a very special engagement video/slideshow. The new rave is fusion, mixing photography and videography, and with Chris and Phoebe’s wedding, we will be showing what is possible.

A lot of people were naked on this beach….Not sure why or if it’s even legal, but sheesh, that was the first time I have had to photoshop naked people out of a background!

Here are a few of my favorites……A slide show is soon to follow! They are getting married on October 11th at the beautiful Villa Montalvo, just down the street from my house!

A beautiful glimpse of the Gujurati dance known as Garba Raas at Meghan and Umang’s wedding at the San Ramon Marriott hotel. This event usually occurs the day before the wedding celebration and is a great way for family and friends to interact and have some fun. Here is a clip I put together just for fun!

It’s a great weekend when you can shoot a wedding on Saturday and two engagement shoots on Sunday! I met up with Emmalynne and Kaushik at Twin Lakes beach in Santa Cruz for their engagement shoot on Sunday and we had a blast! The weather was a little overcast but it was not too cold and the wind was not that bad either. It was high tide though and at the very end, the water came rushing up and we all ran. Luckily Emmalynne grabbed their jackets of the sand just in time to save their cell phones from getting wet!

I am looking forward to their wedding next month at the DeCathalon Club in Santa Clara where they will have two ceremonies, one American, and one Hindu. It should be fun!
