What can I say about Melissa and Adam? They are a fun loving, and very down to earth couple and they really make me smile. I was so happy when Melissa contacted me about her wedding. We went to Junior high and high school together, long before I started my own wedding photography business in 2003. They are truly perfect for each other and it was so awesome to be there and document it like a true photojournalist 80% of the time.

There were some hiccups, like a power line falling just down the road from Thomas Fogarty winery where the wedding was held. It was pouring down rain, the road was closed off, and everyone had to take alternate routes. We went another way that took an extra 45 minutes to get there, when we were originally five minutes from the site. Then the bride’s limo got stuck on an alternate one lane road and they had to be picked up from someone at the wedding. It was a little crazy, started a couple hours late, and was freaking pouring a little wet. But otherwise, even in the rain, we got a lot of great shots and did video as well. Claudia and John have a wonderful sense of humor and are so laid back. Their wedding was so fun to shoot at Palmdale Estates in Fremont, California. Luckily we missed the rain and had a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Best of luck to you guys and look forward to seeing you soon!
