“What a friggen cute baby”! That’s what I said out loud when I saw baby Alessandra. She is four and a half months old and is the baby of my past wedding clients, Carole and Joey. She is so adorable and was so fun to photograph. She made the best expressions and didn’t even cry once. I can tell this little one is going to be very strong. She is going to start crawling and talking any day now.

I absolutely love this baby! Amaya Rose is so adorable and so small. She was born several weeks early and only weighed about five pounds but she is packing it on quick and is doing great!
The original plan was to do a maternity shoot with Tara while she was about 8 months pregnant, but Tara became ill and had to have baby Amaya earlier than expected. About a week after Amaya was born I dropped by their house in Campbell and took these precious photos of her.

Baby Hana was born on April 1, 2010 to my past wedding clients Nami and Ray. Just a few weeks ago, Nami and Ray were in my Los Gatos photography studio doing their maternity photos. Just a few weeks later I got the email that Baby Hana had been born! I quickly came to the family’s home in Fremont to take her first “professional portrait”.
I am so amazed at the miracle of life. Once a baby is born they transform so fast. Each day they gain weight, get taller, and learn more and more about their surroundings. This crucial time in the first couple weeks of their life, only lasts that, a couple weeks. From there they start to change and adapt to the world and their personalities take shape. Truly, at this stage of life, they are innocent and totally pure. That is why it is so important to have this fleeting moment captured on film. It is such a brief moment in time.
Baby Hana is going to be a diverse and cool person. She is half Japanese and half Mexican. She will have both cultures as her heritage, but will be a true American girl as well. How sweet it is to have amazing parents who are rooted in their traditions, but have also become Americans themselves. She will be a really cool trilingual girl that is going to be very unique. From our shoot, which lasted a little less than one hour, here are Nami and Ray’s favorites of their special little girl!
This baby is so amazingly cute. She is so adorable. Here are a few of Jennifer and Eric’s favorite photos from our shoot, where they introduced baby Abigail to the camera for the very first time. Abigail did not cry once and she hammed it up with the family heirloom quilt. She is a total “happy baby” and was a pleasure to photograph. I can see why some photographers only do baby photography as I had a lot of fun! Of course the hardest part can be getting them to look at the camera as in this opening shot, but when they do, it’s magic! Enjoy the set!
