Monique and Surag are tying the knot on October 9, 2010 at Casa Real in Livermore. They are planning an awesome three day affair that I am highly looking forward to.
Monique and Surag are super chill, easy to photograph people. They love life and have a lot of laughs with one another. We had a lot of fun at the Legion of Honor in SF and then Baker Beach. Unfortunately, it was really cold, windy, and overcast, but thanks to a little off camera flash, we created our own sunlight!
I am so excited for Alexis and Atheer (Theo, as he goes by). They are great people and we know we will have lots of good times with them covering their special day in September. They took direction so well but really did not even need any. Almost none of these images are photoshopped very much because they have pretty darn good features if I must say so myself.
We have been shooting a lot at the bow and arrow in San Francisco since it is such a diverse place. You got grass, ocean, big clock tower, huge bow and arrow art piece, as well as the Bay Bridge!
Thanks for all the love and support everyone. Check out some pics!
I really enjoy a good backyard wedding. Or as this one was, a front yard wedding! Sarah and John tied the knot last Saturday at John’s grandmother’s house in Los Gatos and we had a blast working with them! They were all smiles, happy, and excited that their friends and family were there to share this amazing once in a lifetime experience. Most of the family came from far and wide and there was so much love in the air you could taste it!
We did both the Photo + Cinema and here are just a few of our favorites from the day!
Rashee and Asheesh were living out in Dallas Texas but they knew their wedding was going to be in San Jose so they called me up and asked me to be their wedding cinematographer several months before their wedding. I was really excited to work with them, especially after I met Asheesh’s parents. They were really cool, organized, and just wanted some great art….”no pressure”!
Their Sangeet was right here in the Almaden Valley of San Jose at Asheesh’s house. It was fun, casual, and everyone was having a great time. The wedding day was a beautiful Spring day with the sun shining and some much needed warmth from the cold winter. The ceremony and reception was held at the San Jose Fairmont.
The anime convention was going on as well, so there were lots of interesting characters running around. Rashee and Asheesh, hitting the streets in their wedding attire, fit right in!
We shot the ceremony with 5 cameras, including Canon 5D Mark II, two 7Ds, and two Canon XH-A1′s. A little overkill maybe, but the cutaways we have for editing purposes were worth it! We really love the final cut as well, which is about 2.5 hours long. This highlights give you a taste of their wedding day in just 5 minutes.
We hope you enjoy. Sit back, relax, and pump your speakers!
